KIU, Western Campus - Dr Abdirahman Hassan Salad graduated with a Master�s Degree in Medicine in Paediatrics and Child Health during KIU�s 29th graduation ceremony held on Saturday 13th, July 2024. Salad says he wants to use his Master�s Degree to provide high-quality healthcare services to children and contribute to their universal health needs. �I plan to utilize the knowledge and skills acquired from KIU to provide high-quality healthcare services to children and contribute to the well-being of young patients in need,� Dr. Salad says. He says that is the major reason why he joined KIU in January 2021 to further his education and specialize in paediatrics and child health and adds that he has not been disappointed. �I chose KIU for its renowned faculty in the medical field, comprehensive curriculum, and modern facilities that would enhance my learning experience,� he reveals. �The education and experiences I gained from KIU exceeded my expectations, providing me with a solid foundation in paediatric medicine and child health,� he adds.

He encourages anyone who wants to have a quality university education to join KIU because it has the expertise, relevant curriculum and the facilities and resources for practical learning opportunities.

Dr. Salad plans to continue his studies to receive further specialization and training in paediatric medicine to enhance his skills and knowledge in this field.

He has fond memories from KIU like the interactions with his peers and professors, the hands-on clinical experiences, and the sense of accomplishment upon completing challenging assignments and exams.

He is grateful to his mother and father, his supervisors and friends for their unwavering support and encouragement throughout his journey towards completing my Master's degree.
